It is advisable to stay off of it for a minimum of 7 days after installation for normal traffic and 14-30 days after installation for any heavy equipment. The concrete is considered to be curing during this time and any heavy vehicles or machinery used on the concrete during this time may put the concrete at risk of damage.
Unfortunately, from time-to-time concrete can be struck by hairline cracking or cracks. Hairline or cracking concrete is common and generally not a cause for concern. Common causes of cracking include shrinkage stress, stress due to trees, commercial or heavy vehicles, soil movement due to changes in moisture content due to garden watering or drainage problem. The QBCC Guidline has put together what is tolerable.

Keep it wet! We recommend hosing or keeping a sprinkler on the concrete at least twice per day for 2-7 days after it's poured. Allow the concrete time to cure before putting it to use & every 6 months give the concrete a high pressure clean to remove and build up dirt & oil.
Our administration team will process the final invoice due for payment, we will have the control joints completed within 24-48 hours after the concrete pour & if you have requested an acid wash & seal to be done this will be completed 2 weeks after your concrete has been poured (this is weather dependant) our administration team will keep you updated.
